Dr Ferris Touma

Dr Touma is an Australian trained cardiologist, having grown up in Sydney and studied at the University of Sydney. He graduated with honours in both his undergraduate and graduate degrees. 

Dr Touma completed his physicians training in internal medicine at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, and advanced cardiology training in NSW including rotations in the Central Coast LHD and St Vincent's Hospital in Sydney. He helped establish a rapid access chest pain clinic at the Sutherland Hospital for rapid assessment of patients with chest pain, referred directly by general practitioners. He also completed a dedicated fellowship at the Alfred Hospital, Victoria's cardiac transplant unit, where he acquired comprehensive training in cardiac MRI, cardiac CT and advanced echocardiography. 

Dr Touma has a demonstrated history in cardiac research and publications, as well as teaching medical students and junior doctors. He is passionate about the prevention of heart disease and early identification illness. He lives in the upper North Shore with his wife and two young children and is dedicated to serving the local community.
